Welcome to Scoil Mhuire

We have been learning all about school these past two weeks.

We learned about the different people who work in the school. Teachers, the principal, the secretary, the lollipop lady and the caretaker.

We went on a walk around the school.

We left our classroom and visited the secretary's office first. 

We walked down the corridor and went into the principal's office.

We went up the stairs and into the staff room. This is where the teachers eat their lunch. It looks like a kitchen!

We went upstairs and visited a classroom full of big girls! We sang Humpty Dumpty. They gave us a big clap!

Next we we went to the computer room. Look at all the computers!

We walked down the stairs and back into our classroom. We were so good on our walk.

We drew pictures of our classroom. Look at some of our drawings.

We made a chart showing how we come to school.

Some of us walked, some of us came on the bus and some of us came to school in the car.
