A Visit from a Garda

On Tuesday Garda Maedhbh came to visit our class. She works in Clondalkin. She told us the garda's biggest job is to keep everyone safe. We are so lucky to have fantastic gardaí like Maedhbh.

She showed us some of the things she uses in her job - the garda ID and badge, the garda hat, the garda jacket, the stab-proof vest, the handcuffs, the asp, the pepper spray and the notebook.

After she left we wrote the garda in our copies and drew a picture of Garda Maedhbh and some of the things she showed us.
