Awesome Aistear in April

We had some new activities for Aistear from April 13th - May 8th.

Doctor's Surgery Role-Play

We pretended to be doctors, nurses, patients and the receptionist.

Cutting and Fine Motor Skills

We sequenced ladybirds from 1-4. We created ladybirds and their wings. We matched pictures to the letter that starts the word.

Building Block Construction

We pretended to be builders. We built a city.

Painting

We had a painting table for the three weeks. We did free painting. This means we could paint whatever we liked! We really concentrated on washing our brushes and making sure our brush was clean when we wanted to change colour. We got very good at that.

Weight

We had a station where we explored heavy and light. We sorted objects into sets of heavy and light. We compared using our hands first. We used a balance for the second two weeks.
