Our Visit to Clondalkin Library

We went to visit the library on Thursday. We walked there with the help of teacher, Ms. Currivan and Ms. O'Flaherty. We made sure to be very careful and to stay on the path.

We were so happy to visit the library. We have a library in our classroom but the library in Clondalkin is much bigger. We walked upstairs to the children's area. There were so many books!

The library assistant told us a little bit about her job. She looks after the books and puts them back on the shelves. She also told us how we can join the library. When you have a library card you can bring books home. When you are finished with them you can return them and get a new one. The best part is it's free to join!

You can join the library by clicking here.

We had a look around and took out some books that looked good. We sat down and had a little read. Some of us also listened to a book through earphones!

When we came back to class we drew things we saw in the library such as books, DVDs, computers and the librarian.

We would love to come back to the library again soon!
