Our Green School

Our school got a green flag today. Now we have 6 green flags outside our school.

Count them next time you pass! We wore green to celebrate.

We all went to the hall during the day. The big girls in fifth and sixth class sang songs. They were fantastic! The members of the green school committee told us a story about a spoon and how we worked hard to get the new flag.

Minister Frances Fitzgerald came to our school for the celebration. We gave her a big bualadh bos (round of applause).

We hope to get many more green flags while we are in Scoil Mhuire.
